Pool and spa combinations in Temecula

Adding a spa changes the price by a lot. The numbers below are contractor estimates, not a price from Temecula Pool Guide.

What the contractor pages say a spa costs

Premier Pools and Spas' Temecula page says a spa adds $30,000 to $40,000, and that with a spa most of their projects land near $100,000. The same page says a pool alone starts around $60,000.

Bogner Pools' 2026 Inland Empire guide puts a mid-range custom pool with a spa at $80,000 to $120,000, and resort-style work at $120,000 and up. That guide covers the Inland Empire, not Temecula alone.

Use both as planning numbers. The cost guide puts them next to rock, retaining wall, and heat-source figures. A new pool without a spa is covered on the inground pool page.

Temecula requires a permit for pools, spas, and hot tubs, so a spa does not skip the permit. Murrieta and French Valley use other offices. Confirm the builder's license before you sign, using the license guide.

Pool and spa questions

Is a spa a separate $30,000 to $40,000 bill?

That range is what one Temecula contractor page says a spa adds. Another guide folds a spa into an $80,000 to $120,000 mid-range pool. Ask each builder whether the spa is inside the total you are looking at.

Does a spa still need a permit in Temecula?

Yes. The city requires a permit for pools, spas, and hot tubs. The builder should pull it.
