The service

Temecula Pool Guide is a free referral service for homeowners in Temecula, Murrieta, and French Valley. We are not a contractor. We do not build pools, pull permits, or supervise the work, and we make no promises about any builder's work.

California law restricts advertising for construction by anyone not licensed in that classification (B&P 7027.1). This site stays a referral on purpose. The CSLB's marketplace fast facts say a referral service may not solicit or negotiate the contract, and may not offer to do the construction. You contract with the licensed builder and pay that builder.

Your contract is with the builder

Any written price, contract, warranty, or payment for the pool is between you and the builder you choose. Business and Professions Code section 7159 applies to that home improvement contract. Cost ranges on this site are contractor estimates for planning. They are not offers and not bids.

Look up the builder's license, and the registration of the person who sells the contract, before you hire them. The license guide lists the state pages.

Information on this site

Guides are general information, not engineering, legal, or financial advice, and they can go out of date. Figures are only as good as the contractor pages they cite. Your builder's written assessment and your permit office govern your project. Permit rules differ for Temecula, Murrieta, and unincorporated French Valley.

Call recording

Calls to this site are recorded to confirm referrals and for quality. A notice plays before recording starts. If you do not want to be recorded, do not continue the call. Use the request form instead.
